| Abstract: | Taking Huangshui basin located in Danjiangkou reservoir of Xichuan county as an example,the methods of establishing weather and soil databases needed in SWAT are studied in the case of data deficiency.Daily solar radiation data is simulated with the weather generator of SWAT.Precipitation data and dew point temperature are calculated using PcpSTAT and Dew02 respectively.Cubic spline interpolation method is used to make the soil grain size conversion,and the soil physical characteristics are estimated by the SPAW software combinating with data of soil organic matter content.The established weather and soil databases lay the foundation for the application of SWAT model in the study area. |
