地质年代的研究是以大跨度时空范围来探讨地球的演化过程，然而至今尚没有以生命和生态环境的全过程的大跨度理念来综合认识地质年代。本文是从生命的诞生、发展进化和衰亡的全过程的大视野来认识地质年代的变迁。

Cognition of Geological Era in Viewpoint of Life Process

Study of geological era is often carried out by exploration of the evolution process of the Earth in large time-space scale, but heretofore geological era hasn't been synthetically cognized through a large-dimension theory which incorporates the whole process of life and ecological environment of the Earth. This paper understands the vicissitude of geological era through a pantoscopic view which takes into account the whole process of origin, development, evolution and decadency of life process in the Earth.
