| Abstract: | Expression and mutagenesis of bacteriorhodopsin (BR) are important techniques forstudying the mechanism of proton pumping and optic-electronic features of BR. BR with the single-sitesubstitution of Arg 82 to Gln (R82Q) was constructed by site-directed mutagenesis and expressed inL33 cell (bop- ). The result of mutasenesis was determined by DNA sequencing , western blotting andspectra analysis. Mutated bop gene can be inherited stably in L33 cell. |
