福建省高等教育规模与经济增长协整关系研究

运用现代经济计量分析方法,采用1978-2012年统计数据,对福建省高等教育规模与经济增长之间的协整关系进行了实证分析。结果表明:高等教育规模与经济增长之间存在长期稳定的协整关系,高等教育规模是推动经济长期持续增长的影响因素;福建经济增长的高等教育规模弹性大于全国平均水平;福建省高等教育规模与经济增长互为格兰杰因果关系。在此基础上提出了稳步扩大福建省高等教育规模、提高高等教育质量、促进经济持续协调快速增长等对策。

Research on the Cointegration Relationship between the Scale of Higher Education and Economic Growth in Fujian Province

Using the method of modern economic quantitative analysis and the statistical datum from 1978 to 2012, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the cointegration relationship between the scale of higher education and economic growth in Fujian. The results show that there is a long-term stable relationship between the scale of higher education and economic growth, the scale of higher educa-tion is an influencing factor to promote the long-term sustaining economic growth; the resilience of higher education scale in Fujian is higher than that of national higher education scale;there is the relationship of Granger causality between scale of higher education and economic growth. On this basis, countermeasures are put forward to expand steadily the scale of higher education, improve the quality of higher education and promote the sustainable coordinated rapid economic growth in Fujian Province.
