本通过对吐鲁番地区人旅游资源地理和历史背景的分析，归纳出本区人旅游资源具有“名”、“古”、“奇”、“特”等特色；并在此基础上提出挖掘人旅游资源潜力，做好旅游大章的几点建议。

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF HUMAN TOURISM RESOURCES AND THE DEVELOPING POTENTIALITY OF TURPAN

Turpan is one of the hottest tourist areas of Xinjiang. As one of the regions that firstly opened to the outside in our country,Turpan has seen great progress in tourism since 1978. But the tourism develops much behind that of the inland in China. Turpan enjoys tourism resources which are numorous, various,high - graded and typical. It is especially rich in human tourism resources, whose characteristics can be summarized as famous,old,strange and special. But the tourism development does not fit in with its rich resources. Based on the further analysis of the developing trend of the overseas tourism and the measurement of the future developing objects,this paper puts forward some suggestions on tourist development in this area: (1)enlarge the scale of the tourist industry; (2) develop a big market and gradually form a stable four leveled market which is composed of mainland market, HongKong, Macao and Taiwan market, Asia and overseas markets in proper order: (3)emphasize on the construction of product system and set up an integrate image and a special style of the regional tourism; (4)build up a chain management network, strengthen the coalition between Turpan and other regions in Xinjiang, other provinces in China and other countries in the world, and finally form a well developed tourist model which will play an important role,enjoy high position and prestige in the regional tourism.
