镇江地区六朝文化的成就

纵论京口文化的发展，最辉煌的时期当属六朝。这一时期，在移民文化的影响下，先进的中原文化和土著的江南文化实现了互融互惠，推动了整个京口城市的进步和发展，这里成了江南有名的政治和经济中心。而政治和经济中心的要素又进一步促成了京口文化的繁荣。当时的京口人文荟萃，群星闪烁，取得丰硕的文化成果，在经史研究、文学创作、书法雕刻等多方面均有建树，甚至在全国都有相当大的社会影响。

Cultural achievements in the Six Dynasties of Zhenjiang

The most brilliant period of Jingkou culture development is considered to be the Six Dynasties. Influ- enced by immigration culture during this period, indigenous Jiangnan culture realized the interaction and mutual benefit with advanced Central Plains culture to promote the progress and development of the whole Jingkou, which became the famous political and economic center of Jiangnan. The elements of the political and economic center further contributed to the prosperity of Jingkou culture. At that period of brilliant Jingkou culture development, a great many famous scholars assembled like blinking stars and they achieved fruitful cultural achievements in history research, literature, calligraphy carving and many other aspects, which even exerted quite big social influences througout the country.
