低温Al2O3悬浮电解新工艺的研究

摘    要:A new process of low temperatureAl2O3 suspension electrolysis for produc-ing aluminum in low melting point fluo-chloridesystem was investigated. Current efficiency (η) expres-sion deduced from experiments on20~80A electrolysis cell showed that main effects on η are the cell current and thesurface of aluminum produced.Increasing cell current and diminishing aluminum surfacecan both make η increase. On an electrolysis cell of about 100A capacity with the fineγγ-Al2O3 (media diam.1.22μm) and the mixture in which F-/C1-molar ratiowas 1 at 750℃,aluminum metal was obtained with 86.3% current efficiency and11.73kWh specific energy consumption.
