| Abstract: | This paper introduces a successful practice of researching and producing of a largenew type alloy construction steel forge piece. The process induded such as smelting,forging, post heat treatment, quenching and tempering heat treatment was presented inthe paper, the used procedure and result was presented as well. High-level comprehensive mechanical property is desired to the forge piece. So far, it has been used cessfully in a large pressure vessel for a off-shore engineering project in our country. |
