汉译英中"中国特征"的保留

如何在汉译英中保留汉语当中的文化形象，此问题一直困扰着译者。“同化”这种翻译方法在汉译英过程中起着越来越重要的作用，译者应力求保持汉语的原貌，也就是要尽量传译“中国特征”，具体说，就是要尽量表达中文原作的文化特色、语言形式及异常写作手法。“同化法”也要注意限度，实在行不通，还要利用英语特有的表达方式。

How to Keep "Chineseness" in C -E Translation

How to keep Chinese cultural images in C-E translation has always been puzzling the translators. This translating approach of "assimilation" will play an increasingly important role in the process of C-E translation. The "assimilating " translating approach aims primarily at keeping as much as possible the "Chineseness" of the original works in the translation, including Chinese cultural features, special linguistic forms and unusual writing techniques. It should be pointed out that when applying this translating approach, the translators shouldn't go too much beyond what is allowable by the English language and culture and what is acceptable to the English readers. When "assimilation" is not feasible, the other supplementary approach should be used.
