摘    要:情境教学借助于创设生动形象的课堂情境,激发学生的学习兴趣和求知欲,改善教学环境,有效提高教学质量。本文以笔者从事的《旅游实践英语》课堂教学为例,分别从创设情境,自然导入课文;创设情境,培养听力技能;创设情境,锻炼口语能力三个方面阐述了课堂上情境教学的运用。在《旅游实践英语》课堂教学中,通过模拟情境的创设,学生既锻炼了英语口语的表达能力,又强化了旅游行业服务技能,对学生职业能力的提高和加强有着很大的帮助。

Abstract:Situational teaching can develop the students' interest for learning English and improve the teaching result.Take the teaching of "practical tourism English" as an example,the writer elaborates the application of situational teaching in three aspects,which are natural lead-in,listening skills improvement and oral English practice.The writer finds that by creating situations in classroom teaching,the students can not only practice their oral English,but also improve their service skills in tourism industry.It can be a great help to the improvement of the students' professional skills.
