Abstract:A transient method with rectangular pulse heating has been developed to measure the specific heat and thermal conductivity of solid structural materials at low temperatures. The specific heat and the thermal conductivity(axial and radial) of glass fibre reinforced plastics samples are measured by the equipment. The result shows that the experimental data have good agreement compared with the others.
