| Abstract: | This paper is to discuss the importance of keeping the discourse coherence in translation. The author points out that discourse as the translation unit is the basis of keeping discourse coherence in translation, analyzing the ordinary and peculiar discourse coherence, discussing how to deal with this two kinds of discourse coherence in translation to keep the discourse coherence of target language intranslation. |
