京江画派与京口隐逸文化

京江画派是清朝中叶活跃于镇江的画家群体,多以本邑自然山水为取法对象,画风直接宋元,但影响囿于本邑而不远播,在画史上被定位为地方小画派.由于地理、历史、宗教及社会文化的影响,京口在历史上形成了具有特色的隐逸文化.作为当时京江文坛领袖的王文治笃信佛教,而京江画派的主要画家或是其挚友,或为其门生,皆受其影响崇尚隐逸,这也是京江画派影响不远的一个重要原因.

On Jinjiang painting school and Jinkou covert culture

Jinjiang painting school is a painting group existing in the mid Qin Dynasty.They took tha local natural rivers and mountains as their painting objects,and their painting style is similar to that of the Song and Yuan Dynasty,and their inflence is limited in the local areas.Therefore,they are classified as the local painting school in the painting history.Because of the influence of geography,history,religion and social culture,a peculiar culture characterized by escaping from real life came into existence in Jinkou.Wang wen-zhi,as the leader of Jinjiang literary field,believed in Buddism.Other painters,esp.his friends and students were influenced by him.They all believed in this culture,and this is why Jinjiang painting school didn't enjoy wide influence.
