人民军队的形象是整个国家形象的重要支撑,而军队形象又要靠营造有利于我军建设的国际舆论环境来支持和实现.随着世界多极化、经济全球化、文化多样化和社会信息化的深入发展,舆论环境对一支军队建设发展的影响和制约越来越大.在新的历史起点上,大力加强国际舆论环境建设,尤其要做到：一是在善于应对挑战中树立我军形象;二是在说与做的统一中展示我军形象;三是在用好各种媒体形式中提升我军形象.

The image of the people＇s military can bolster the entire nation＇s image. The military＇s image may in turn find support from a constructive environment of world opinion. With the deepening of global plurality, economic globalization, cultural diversity as well as social informatization, public opinion plays an ever increasing role in promoting a military＇s development. In the new historical era, to create a positive environment of world opinion we should establish our military＇s image in dealing with challenges, demonstrate our military＇s image by unifying what we say and what we do, and enhance our military＇s image by making good use of different forms of media.
