Abstract:
The paper discussed the cause theory of residual stress of pressure containers in the course of forming and welding as well as the reason of fatigue destruction and stress corrosion destruction of containers which are caused by the residual stress. It also gave some advice on how to remove or reduce the residual stress of pressure containers. 6figs., 4refs.
