| Abstract: | The communicative approach lays emphasis on developing the communicative competence. It is necessary for the communicative approach to be applied to English teaching. The paper introduces three basic class activities: discussion, role-play, and simulation. In addition, the difficulties of class activities are briefly illustrated. |
