| Abstract: | A new kind of dynamic vibration absorber (DVA),electro-magnetic natural frequency controllable DVA is introduced.The construction and the dynamic characteristics of this kind of DVA are analyzed.lt is demonstrated that the natural frequency of the DVA can be adjusted by changing the electricity in its coil.Also demonstrated is that the natural frequency of this kind of DVA can trace the vibration frequency of structure under control so that satisfactory control results can be obtained even thougt the structure under control vibrates within a wider frequency band. |
