| Abstract: | The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) plays a very important role in image processing. Pprocedures for applying FFT techniques in textile testing, which include image filtering, the measurement of fiber orientation in nonwovens and the measurement of structural characteristics of woven fabrics are discussed. The results show that the FFT techniques is an efficient and reliable method. |
