Synthesis of CdSe quantum dots |

| Abstract: | Water-soluble CdSe quantum dots(QDs) were synthesized in aqueous solution with thioglycollic acid as stabilizer.CdSe QDswere characterized using Transmission electron microscopy(TEM),UV-Vis absorption spectrum(UV-Vis) and fluorescence spectra(FL).The characterization results indicate that as-synthesized CdSe QD was uniform at about 3.5 nm. |
