| Abstract: | In its course towards an international metropolis,Beijing encounters such problems as the orientation of the city character,the scale and quality of its population,the structure of its industry,the problems of traffic jam and tail\|gases pollution,etc.It puts forward viewpoints and suggestions on these problems.It further suggested that Beijing should be assigned as an ecological special zone,should develop environmental protection industry,and should prevent landscape pollution in all construction projects. |
