论西藏现代高等美术教育的发展与现状

西藏现代高等美术教育始于20世纪70年代。由于十年动乱，百废待兴，当时国家从内地委派了援藏美术教师，在西藏开始了现代美术教育的历史。70年代末国家恢复高考制度，西藏学生又陆续考入内地大学学习美术，80年代开始还有部分西藏画家到国外进行学习和交流，这些艺术家返藏后继续进行艺术教育和艺术创作等工作。与此同时，西藏传统美术教育纳入到了现代高等美术教育体系中，使西藏的现代高等美术教育形成了独具民族特色的、较完善的现代美术教育体系。但是，在现代化的建设过程中，西藏的现代高等美术教育也面临着新的挑战和问题，需要不断解决，以适应新的社会发展的需要。文章以西藏大学艺术学院美术教育为案例，对西藏美术高等美术教育的历史沿革，学科建设情况以及所面临的问题和挑战进行了分析和论述。

On the Present Condition and Development of Higher Fine Art Education in TAR

Modem art education started in Tibet Autonomous Region （TAR） in the 1970s. Due to the Cultural Revolution, Tibetan society was, as was the rest of China, in chaos for ten years. After the Cultural Revolution, the central government sent teachers from mainland China to TAR in order to launch a modem education program. In the late 70s, China started the recruitment of university students as it had done previously before the Cultural Revolution and some Tibetan students attended schools in mainland China. Since 1980s some Tibetan artists got the chance to study and exhibit their works in Europe and other foreign countries. After finishing their studies, they returned to Tibet to teach modem art and to work as professional artists. At the same time, the government introduced traditional Tibetan Fine Art practice into the modem education system, and invited Tibetan traditional art masters to teach at the School of Arts at Tibet University. Therefore, Tibet modem higher fine art education has unique cultural characteristics. Besides, it has also established modem art education system in general. However, currently it is facing new challenges and problems connected to globalization and the process of modernization that need to be solved and adjusted to the new environment. This paper analyzes the development of modem higher fine art education, the disciplinary fields of the higher education of fine art, and finally the facing of today＇ s challenges in TAR.
