18—19世纪英国小说中的女性道德标准研究

道德教诲始终是小说诸多功能中最被作者和读者重视的一项功能。女性道德标准是社会道德体系的重要组成部分，所以对女性道德标准的反映、宣传、巩固和重构就成了小说家们关注的主题。女儿、情人、妻子这三种女性身份功能是通过与它们相对应的男性（父亲、情人和丈夫）之间的关系发挥出来的，这三种女性身份所体现出的何为好女人．何为坏女人恰恰反映了当时社会对女性道德标准的要求。

On Woman's Virtue in British Fiction of 18th～19th Century

Moral instruction has been concerned by both authors and readers as an important function of novel all the time. The definitions of woman＇ s virtue are a key part of any social system of morality. Therefore, novelists see such definitions a subject for them to reflect and reinforce or reconstruct. Daughter, lover and wife are the three basic female identities which correspondent with three male identities, father, lover and husband. The answers to who is a virtuous woman and who is a non -virtuous woman are the very criteria for woman＇s morality.
