| Abstract: | The standard score transformation method is now adopted in college enrollment. The weak point of the method is that the compound formula fails to consider the influence of difference of subjects and standard deviation. In order to make the college enrolment more reasonable and fair, the author suggests two ways to improve the compound total score formula. To give weight to subjects accordingly and to value the affect of those subjects that have larger standard deviation will definitely make the compound total score formula more accurate and scientific. |
