| Abstract: | In this paper, the esterase isozymes of Rana catesbeiana Shaw and Rana tigrina rugulosa Wiegmann were investigated with the polyacrylamide gel vertical plating electrophoresis. The experiments showed that the esterase isozyme between the two species exhibited the species-specificity and between different tissues (heart,liver,kidney and muscle)of the same species showed the tissue-specificity. And it seems justified that esterase isozymes can be used as genetic markers in identification of different species. |
