The paper has first described the aim, significance and developing of texturing, and pointed out the shortcoming of the morphology and structure for single textured yarn. And it has also put out the new conception of multi-texturing, including composite-texturing and micro (fine)-texturing and discussed their technical characteristic. At last, the application and developing prospects of multi-texturing have been summarized.
