通过对英汉语义结构与翻译的探讨，揭示了语义对于翻译的重要性，并指出只有对英汉两种语言从语义结构上进行深入的了解对比，内化两种语言义同形异的各种语义结构，才能在翻译过程中得心应手地用相应地道的语义表达式将原语的语义确当地加以转换。

On the Semantic Structures and E-C Translation

After probing into the close relationship between semantic structures and translation,this paper reveals the importance of meaning in translation,and points out that only when comparisons and thorough understandings on Chinese and English structures in meaning have been fulfilled and various semantic structures of both languages with equivalent meaning yet different forms have been internalized can idiomatic translation of equivalent semantic expressions be made possible.
