| Abstract: | Construction of new towns is good for economical use of land,achieving economies of scale,improving rural infrastructure,promoting rural modernization.It should be able to become the typical pattern of rural development of the central China.This paper uses lugang town,fengqiu county,Henan province as research area and preliminary studies the suitable scale of new town at the typical agricultural areas of central China.Through calculating related indexs we get results that if every new town has 10 000 persons it will save land in the township 530.01 hm2,per-capita cultivated area will reach 0.6 hm2,farming radius is 2.05 km,infrastructure is greatly improved.That is suiatable scale of the new town. |
