摘    要:介绍了“3S”(RS,GIS,GPS)技术的内容、发展历史与动态;根据深度、广度和同步性三个标准详细地论述了“3S”集成的确切含义和各种集成模式对应的实现方式之间的差异;阐述广度标准下的四种集成方式(RS与GIS,GIS与GPS,RS与GPS,GIS与RS和GPS)的特点和主要应用领域;论证“3S”集成应用的本质是提供不同层次的空间信息服务,并提出多学科协同配合研究“3S”集成的思路。

Abstract:S is the abbreviation for the acronyms of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System, and Global Positioning System. At the beginning the article briefly introduces the main content, the developing history, and the current situation of 3S technologies. Then it elaborates the exact meaning of 3S integration and the differences among various implementation modes corresponding with all kinds of integration patterns according to the three standards of breadth, compactness, and simultaneity. Further it expounds the characters and the main application fields of the four integration patterns (RS with GIS,GIS with GPS,RS with GPS,GIS with RS and GPS) under the standard of breadth. It proves that the essence of the application of 3S integration is to supply spatial information services at different levels, and it puts for ward the idea of studying the 3S integration from the interdisciplinary perspective.
