In recent years, language learning strategy, has become one of the heated topics in the field of education and applied linguistics, as well as one of the key factors influencing the English learning outcomes. Based on the language learning strategy theory, this paper discusses the teaching practice on strategy training in college English teaching regarding the following aspects： its significance, principles, contents and training methods, which is supposed to increase and enrich college English teaching quality.
