| Abstract: | The effect of colored multiplicative noise on the laser output for a cwdye laser at steady state is analysed by means of the Hanggi's ansatz. Analytic solutions of the mean, variance and skewness of the laser intensity are calculated through a Fokker-Planck equation. Compared with experimental results, good agreement between theory and experiment is obtained. |
