Deconstruction of nostalgic complex in The Woman Warrior

The Chinese-American writer,Maxine Hong Kingston,has written three novels,The Woman Warrior, China Men and Tripmaster Monkey,which have helped topromote the rapid development of Chinese-American liter- ature in recent years and establish a new tradition in American literature.The three novels all focus on the issues of race and identity under the background of Chinese-American history and describe the change of nostalgic complex found in the three Chinese-American generations and analyzes the underlying contributing social and cultural factors for such changes.
