Design and Implementation of Readable/Writable Electronic Diskette in PC-Series Computers

A multifunction readable/writable electronic diskette was developed not only to substitute entirely the traditional ones and drivers but to fix user's application programs. Taking advantages of the plentiful,flexible and powerful DOS softwares,the multifunction diskette provides not only the traditional performance,but incomparable improvements of reading and writing speeds,reliability,structure and cost performance. It has a 360 kB ROM and 256 kB static RAM for power-off protection,with only 4 kB memory locations taken up. It is applicable for saving user's programs and data,especially,in case the high reliability and high access speed are required for automatic real-time measurements and controls under severe working conditions.
