降边嘉措先生是著名的藏族学者，中国社会科学院民族文学研究所、“格萨尔”研究中心研究员、中国社会科学院研究生院博士生导师。 “格萨尔王传”堪称反映古代藏族历史、宗教、文艺、民风民俗的“百科全书”，在古代藏族文化史上占有重要的地位。文章主要围绕“格萨尔王传”的写作特点、艺术价值、史料价值，以及目前的研究现状等问题，对降边嘉措先生进行了学术采访。

Jiangbian Jyatso is an outstanding Tibetan scholar. He is a researcher in Institute of Ethnic Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Science （CASS） King Gesar is an encyclopia of ancient Tibetan and Ph.D supervisor in the Graduate School of CASS. history, religion, arts and folklore.
This paper is an interview of Jiangbian Jyatso concerning the writing characteristics, the value of art and historiography and its current study.
