金属切削过程的有限元建模

摘    要:金属切削过程是一个非常复杂的弹塑性变形过程,文章采用有限元方法及弹塑性变形理论,对二维金属切削的变形过程进行有限元分析。首先选用矩形单元对刀具和工件弹性阶段进行有限元建模,得出其单元节点力和节点位移之间的关系,然后利用普朗特-路斯方程,推导工件材料塑性变形时单元节点力和节点位移之间的关系,并指出金属由弹性变形到塑性变形时其单元刚度矩阵变化的规律,从而为实现金属切削过程的数值模拟提供可靠的理论基础。

Abstract:The metal-cutting process is a very complicated elastic and plastic deforming procedure. Based on the finite element theory and relevant elastic/plastic deformation principles, the two-dimensional metal-cutting process is analyzed in this paper. Firstly the elastic stage of the cutting tool and workpiece in rectangular element is modeled and the relationship between the element node force and element node displacement also deduced. Then, using the Prandtl-Reuss equation,the relationship between the element node force and element node displacement in the plastic stage is derived, and the change regularity of element stiffness matrix is pointed out as the metal deforms from the elastic state to the plastic state. The research findings in this paper will be helpful to the numerical simulation of metal-cutting process.
