Application of Simulations in Foreign Language Learning

This paper discusses the features and theoretical background of EFL simulations in an environment of the Internet.By using two classical videodisc programs as examples,the author argues that learning a foreign language in a simulated environment is an effective supplement to classroom teaching.The paper also examines some difficulties in creating such an environment for EFL learners in China,and proposes possible solutions to the problems.
