随着社会主义现代化的全面展开,我国社会变革更加深入。现代性急剧成长使社会的各种矛盾走向了明显化,特别是市场经济导致的人们行为的功利化,引发出了许多新的不平衡。因此,必须转变发展观,强调人在社会发展中的主体地位,处理好公平与效率的关系,把“三个代表”重要思想与以人为本的发展观联系起来;处理好市场竞争与社会发展共生性的关系,提高经济社会发展质量;处理好政府与社会的关系,转变政府职能,培育社会发展力。

Deep Development of Modernization and Construction of Harmonious Socialist Society

As the socialist modernization is carried out on all fronts, the reform of China's society is further deepening. The rapid growth of modernization has resulted in the surfacing of various contradictions. The market economy has made the people interest-oriented in their behaviors, which has given rise to some new imbalance. Therefore, we shall shift the concept of development and stress the active function of people, properly handle the relationship between fairness and efficiency, and link the idea of "three represents" with the "people-first" concept of development. In addition, we shall harmonize the relationship between market competition and the co-existence of social development in order to enhance the quality of economic and social development as well as the relationship between government and society by shifting the government function and by fostering social development impetus.
