摘    要:提出了一种基于小波变换和模板匹配的人脸检测方法.首先通过小波变换,取其低频系数后设置阈值,生成若干个二值化的候选区域,然后对模板进行旋转伸缩变换,再与候选区域进行匹配.该方法能在复杂背景下快速检测人脸,并且不受人脸旋转角度的影响.实验结果表明,该算法是十分有效的.

Abstract:A method for face detection is proposed using both wavelet transform and template matching.First wavelet transform is performed and low-frequency coefficients are taken to set threshold,and some binary candidate regions are generated.Then rotational and expansion transform is mode on a template,and the transformed template matches with the candidate region.This method can detect human face quickly under the complex background,and is not affected by the rotating angle of a face.Experimental results demonstrate its effectiveness.
