摘    要:数字高程模型(DEM)作为地球空间信息框架的基本内容已经成为各国十分重视的基础地理信息产品,并在国民生产中发挥着越来越大的作用.ArcView GIS软件是ESRI公司开发的桌面GIS开发系统,软件功能十分强大.论文首先简要介绍了数字高程模型的相关概念和原理,并应用ArcView GIS软件对周口店地区数据进行处理,重点讨论了软件的空间和3D分析模块在DEM上的应用功能,完成对土地进行适宜性评价、3D建模等分析工作,并给出了分析结果.

Abstract:As a basic content of geospace information frame,Digital Elevation Model(DEM) is ranked to be a basic geo-information product by many countries and will bring into play an important role in national construction.ArcView is a Geo-Information System(GIS) desktop software,which is developed by Environmental Systems Research Institute,Inc.USA(ESRI).The function of the software is very powerful.We first give a brief presentation of the concepts and theory about DEM.And then we deal with the data using ArcView,especially we discuss the application function about spatial and 3D modules,finally we complete the suitability assessment,modeling of 3D,and give some results.
