| 摘 要： | 阐述了在高校设立数学建模课程与开展大学生数学建模竞赛的历史必然性及其对深化高校数学教育改革,提高学生综合素质方面的意义;介绍了我国和广西高校数学建模教学与参加数学建模竞赛的情况;对今后的工作提出了展望和一些建议.

The background and significance of the teaching and competition of mathematical modeling |

| Abstract: | The paper reviewed the historical background on mathematical modeling teaching and competition as an activity developed in high schools. It also elaborated the significance of the course and competition of mathematical modeling in order to deepen the reformation of mathematical education and to improve the comprehensive quality of students. At last the paper gave some prospect and suggestion for improvement of the future work. |
