MIG焊接熔池的图像处理和数字控制系统

摘    要:在 MIG焊条件下,存在多种外界干扰。为了保证焊接质量,对焊接熔池的形 状进行控制是非常重要的。使用先进的CCD摄像机,通过周期性地减小焊接电流,排 除弧光干扰,可摄取清晰的熔池图像。通过微型计算机进行图像处理,计算并给出所需 的焊接电流,实时地控制焊道的宽度,从而控制焊接熔深。本系统具有良好的控制特性 和很高的控制精度,可用于实现 MIG焊的实时控制。

Abstract:It is important to control the weld pool shape against the disturbance and the variation of system parameters in MIG welding. The authors can get clear image of weld pool with CCD camera by decreasing periodically the welding current low enough. The image processing and the weld pool width calculation are made by a personal computer in real time, and the welding current for to keep the weld pool width constant is determined. The authors also study the transient response of the system. Experiments demonstrate that the good control--lability and high precision can be obtained by this system. It can be used in real time control in MIG welding.
