| 摘 要： | 基于认知语言学的隐喻研究进路以及语料库,研究美国总统就职演讲中的隐喻。通过对美国总统就职演讲中的隐喻进行识别、分类、识解和分析,探讨隐喻所起的不同作用。认为隐喻可以帮助实现语篇衔接和语篇连贯,还能帮助总统们达到政治意图。

| Abstract: | Based on metaphorical theories within cognitive linguistics and approaches related to corpus linguistics,this paper studies metaphors in inaugural addresses of the presidents of the United States.Through metaphor identification,metaphor classification,metaphor interpretation and metaphor analysis,it focuses on exploring different functions performed by these metaphors.Metaphors are useful to achieve discourse cohesion and coherence,and satisfy the presidents’ politic attempts. |
