英语广告的语言特征及翻译方法

摘    要:广告是商品经济发展的产物,已经成为人们经济生活中不可缺少的一部分..除了有一般广告的特点以外,英语广告还具有独特的词汇特征和句法特征。随着经济全球化的推进,越来越多的国外公司将到中国投资设厂,开辟新的市场。英语国家的公司和产品来到中国后,英语广告将在市场推广中扮演更重要的角色。译者应该了解英语广告的语言特征,总结常用的翻译方法,才能把英语广告的翻译工作做好。它对广告英语的主要特征进行了研究,并概括了英语广告常用的翻译方法。

Abstract:Advertisement is the product of the development of the commodity economy. It has become an indispensable part of people's economic life. Besides the general features ot advertisements, English advertisements have own lexieal and syntactic features. With the advent of the tendency of global economy,more and more foreign companies will invest an d open companies to open up new market in china. After the English speaking companies and the products came to China, English advertisements will play a more important role in the market popularization. The translators should acquire the basic knowledge of English advertisements' features; sum up the common translation methods of English advertisements. Only in this way, can the translators do a good job in the translation .This paper makes a study of the main features of English advertisements and summarizes the common translation methods of English advertisements.
