Abstract:Highly branched aqueous polyurethane(HBAPU)was synthesized via A2+B3 approach using 2,4-toluylene diisocyanate(TDI),dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA),polycarbonatediol(PCDL) and poly(oxyalkylene) triamine(ATA) as materials.Then adding the content of 0.5%,1.5%,2%,3% colloidal silica separately,it can be synthesized into HBAPU modified by colloidal silica.The structure of the products was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).The thermal and mechanical properties of the products were measured by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),tensile tests,rotational viscometer tests and Dynamic thermomechanical analysis(DMA).It had been found that the resistance and mechanical properties increased with the increasing content of SiO2;the degradation temperature of the HBAPU was 200 ℃ and the highest tensile strength was 11 MPa.
