| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the greenery form of traditional architecture and gardening in Lingnan as well as the creative design skills by which contemporary Lingnan public buildings are combined with gardens. On the basis of the analysis, the development and influential factors of the green culture in Lingnan are revealed and its significance elucidated from the social, philosophical, ecological and humanistic perspectives. Some enlightenment for archictecture creation in the 21st century may be gained from the present study. |
