| 摘 要： | 分形图像编码是近几年发展起来的一种新的图像编码方法，目前对它的研究比较广泛。主要介绍了分形图像编码的理论基础、编码方法、基本特征及其发展现状和发展方向，并分析了目前编码方案所存在的缺点以及产生的原因，其分形图像编码定将在图像压缩领域中发挥其更大的作用。

| Abstract: | Fractal image coding is a new image coding method developed in recent years and has been studied widely.In this paper,the fundamental principle,coding methods and features of the image coding are introduced.Meanwhile,the present development and future trend of the fractal image coding are presented. Finally, the shortcomings of current coding scheme and its reasons are analyzed and the solution to the problem is given. |
