因特网的发明对人类生活的各个方面都产生了很大的影响，这其中以对语言的影响最为引人注目。本文首先介绍了网络的发展和网络语言的产生．并且总结了目前学者们对于网络语言的界定。并从社会语言学的角度对网络语言进行初步研究和探索，而使其得到正确的理解．促进其丰富和发展。

Netspeak： a New Kind of Social Dialect

The invention of Internet has exerted great impact on various aspects of people＇s lives, among which the change of language is obvious. This thesis firstly introduces the development of internet and the emergence of netspeak, and summarizes the definitions of netspeak of many scholars. And it also makes a tentative study on netspeak from sociolinguistic perspective which aims to ensure a better understanding about netspeak.
