Abstract:With the implementation of smart manufacturing strategy, the application prospects of intelligent visual inspection equipment are becoming more and more broad. The intelligent visual inspection system is generally composed of the upper computer image processing and the lower computer; the lower computer mainly completes the functions of power supply, automatic feeding, positioning inspection, visual inspection and automatic unloading. PLC is commonly used as the core processor, it has the problems of low detection efficiency and poor accuracy. A high-speed parallel visual inspection system based on LabVIEW for FPGA is proposed in this paper rely on the advantages of FPGA"s high speed, parallelism and flexibility, as well as the rapid programming advantages of LabVIEW for FPGA. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional PLC-based visual inspection system, the system has scalability, higher stability and efficiency, and provides a new solution for the improvement of machine vision inspection productivity.
