| Abstract: | Foreign aquatic species transferred in ballast water of ships is considered to be a significant threat to the global marine biodiversity and ecosystems.This paper introduced the advantages and disadvantages of methods and techniques for ballast water treatment of ships in order to prevent dissemination and invasion of alien invasive marine life to protect marine environment. |
