| Abstract: | The convertional gear shaver makes the concave configuration of gear teeth. In the present paper, the main factors which produce no concave configuration are discussed and the design principle of the gear shaver making no concave configuration of gear teeth is suggested. After gear shaving with this new kind of gear shaver, no trimming process is needed. |
