| Abstract: | In the light of the present situation of the competitive- biddi ng system of the highway engineering, this paper puts forward some problems needin g attention including the bidding scope, the authority of project management, th e compilation of the bidding document and the estimated lower limit on bids, the establishment of the commission for bidding examination and appraisal, the anno uncement of bidding information, the principles of project's bidding assessment and determination, etc. |
